Curcumin

Curcumin is a bioactive substance and one of the primary constituents of the turmeric plant. Praised for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, Curcumin is often used as a supplement to tap into these effects [1]. Further research into the compound has also highlighted its potential as an anti-cancer agent, citing its influence on growth signals, inflammatory markers and cellular self-destruction proteins [2].
